"I was originally hired as a Shipping and Receiving Associate in January 2023, and one year later I am now an Associate Operations Analyst. Nor-Cal has been supportive of my journey to not only growing my career but also myself as a person. When I decided to pursue a college education, everyone was extremely generous in offering support for my education from schedule adjustments to department heads working one-on-one with me, I have always felt that everyone at Nor-Cal has wanted me to succeed. My supervisors have been extremely communicative about my progress and goals, I believe this was a key reason why I was able to be promoted to a Project Coordinator and then as an Associate Operations Analyst. One thing that Nor-Cal never fails at is recognizing and rewarding hard work and talent."

"I was hired in July 2018 as a Documentation Specialist. A year or so in, I volunteered to help implement a workflow system that would take our internal operations and communications to the next level. I quickly became a citizen-developer and a new role was created for me: Operations Analyst. From there, I began collaborating with department heads on continuous improvement efforts, leading to a promotion to Operations Manager. As I began to focus more of my time on those improvement projects, I became our Process Optimization Manager. My growth here has shown me that if you just keep raising your hand, trying to help and learn wherever you can, you will make an impact."
