SCADA Support Services (S3) Overview

Nor-Cal’s SCADA Support Services “S3” allows end users to utilize Nor-Cal’s dedicated team of experienced and knowledgeable engineers through a more proactive approach.

After your project site becomes operational and is handed off to the owner-selected O&M, Nor-Cal’s assigned project team will retain secure access to the operational system and will be readily available for any support or troubleshooting needs that arise during day-to-day operations. This approach will ensure that your systems have the support they need to perform efficiently and consistently.

Every new Nor-Cal SCADA system includes two (2) years of remote support and has the option to extend services every two years thereafter.

 

SCADA Support Services

Remote support services include general troubleshooting and support of any devices connected to the local SCADA system and network that were originally provided by Nor-Cal.

Services also include SCADA system network, alarm, and device troubleshooting support (software level) for:

  • Firewall(s)
  • Network switches
  • Inverters
  • BMS (if applicable)
  • MV transformers
  • Trackers
  • Substation IEDs
  • Weather stations & metering devices
  • HMI & SCADA point list modifications
  • Logic modifications & control tuning enhancements
  • Project recovery/restore
